The Fundy Regional Service Commission (FRSC) is responsible for regional solid waste services in the Fundy Region at Crane Mountain Landfill. The Solid Waste Engagement Committee was established to bring community and stakeholder perspectives into how solid waste services are reviewed, improved, and planned for the future. The Solid Waste Engagement Committee will: - Create a space for community and stakeholder perspectives in regional solid waste decision-making - Review proposed projects and service improvements related to solid waste management - Learn about issues, opportunities, and best practices in the solid waste system - Make recommendations to the FRSC Board to help guide future programs, priorities, and investments - Support periodic review of priorities as part of the Regional Solid Waste Action Plan - Participate in orientation and learning sessions to better understand Crane Mountain Landfill and regional waste services *Community representatives shall not have any direct relationship with the FRSC, FRSC staff, Board member, local governments, rural districts, or ELG, or any status that could constitute a conflict of interest. This is an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to meaningfully inform regional decision-making and help shape sustainable solid waste services across the Fundy Region.
