Following the terms of the Active Community Grant, the Fundy Regional Service Commission is responsible for advancing regional well-being, including supporting physical activity and recreation planning. The Fundy Region benefits from a diverse range of community organizations, municipalities, and stakeholders working to increase low-barrier physical activity opportunities. The Partner’s Table provides a multisectoral venue to support alignment, collaboration, and planning for a Regional Physical Activity Action Plan. The Partner’s Table is established to support the development and implementation of a Regional Physical Activity Action Plan. The Partner’s Table shall: Provide a regional forum for collaboration, alignment, and information sharing across sectors involved in physical activity. Review and share relevant research, best practices, and evidence-based approaches. Make recommendations related to the Action Plan development, including projects, timelines, roles, resources, and outcomes. Identify key stakeholders, community groups, and individuals to engage. Support stakeholder engagement by participating in consultations and outreach efforts. Define annual priorities aligned with the FRSC work plan and the Action Plan.
